The Monster That Wasn't forest scene

This a scene from the book. I really suck at drawing people...lol. But the creature looks good.

My friend was being attacked after she ran out of gas. The man appeared to try to help her, but when she refused he pulled a knife. She ran into the woods to get away. All the while I watched from the trees. After the collapsed against a tree from exhaustion, the man closed in. When he was within feet of her, I'd had enough. Jumping down from the tree top, I landed with a loud *THUD* between them. Slowly standing, I bared my teeth and growled a low, threatening growl. In great fear, the man dropped his knife and ran.
